Bill Unger, CPCU, ARM is a Senior Vice President at FNIC with more than 35 years of experience in the insurance industry. He began his career at Alexander & Alexander, later holding sales and leadership roles with Preferred Physicians Insurance Company and Liberty Mutual, where he managed statewide sales in Nebraska. Bill joined FNIC in 1998, drawn by the firm’s strong regional presence and reputation, and has since become a trusted advisor to large and diverse employers across manufacturing, staffing, construction, and healthcare.
Born and raised in Omaha, Bill brings a strong Midwest work ethic and a client-first mindset to his work, treating every client’s risk and premium as if it were his own. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting and actively participates in several professional organizations, including Staffing Industry Analysts, the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce, the Nebraska Manufacturers Association, and North America Travel Healthcare Organization.
Outside of work, Bill enjoys spending time with his family at Lake Okoboji, tackling renovation projects, attending his children’s sporting events, and following the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He is also a member of St. Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church.
