Jarred Smith

Jarred works closely with individuals, families, businesses, and agricultural clients throughout Northeast Nebraska. Before entering the insurance industry, Jarred built his career in the construction trades, working in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and boiler systems. Insurance has been part of his life from an early age, as his father, Ken Smith, served as agency manager in Bloomfield for nearly 40 years. Working alongside his father before his retirement in 2019 gave Jarred the opportunity to continue serving the community they both care about.

Jarred enjoys building lasting relationships with clients and helping support the communities he calls home. He approaches every client with the same work ethic he admires in local farmers, believing that when there is work to be done, you stay with it until the job is finished. He also values the strong relationships he has built with his FNIC team and the opportunity to meet new people every day. His commitment to service extends beyond the office through his volunteer work and community involvement.

Outside of work, Jarred enjoys cheering on Husker football and the Baltimore Orioles, woodworking, and spending time with his wife and their three sons. He says being a husband and a positive role model for his family is the most important job he has.
