Jay is an agent with FNIC who brings a unique blend of educational experience and insurance knowledge to his role. Before entering the industry full‑time, he taught History and Government at Central City Public Schools, where he developed a deep appreciation for supporting people through clear communication and trusted relationships. While teaching, Jay began selling life and health insurance part‑time, which sparked his interest in helping individuals make informed decisions about their coverage. More than two decades later, he continues to enjoy serving customers he has often known for many years.
Jay values honesty and simplicity in his work. He recommends coverage the same way he would choose it for himself, guided by genuine care for the friendships and relationships he has built over time. Having started at INSUR more than 22 years ago, he appreciates the strong teamwork within FNIC and enjoys seeing projects come together through collective effort.
Outside of work, Jay loves spending time outdoors and working on his property. His family is an important part of his life, and he is actively involved in his community as a board member of the Central Nebraska Growth Foundation.
