Joey Mumaugh

Before entering the insurance industry, Joey built a successful career in technology, working with organizations such as Fiserv, Eakes Office Solutions, and Hudl. His experience in software, hardware, sales, and client service gave him a strong foundation in problem solving and helping people find solutions that meet their needs. Joey’s path into insurance began when a former coworker recognized his strengths and encouraged him to explore a career with FNIC. Today, he enjoys helping individuals, families, and businesses protect what matters most.

Joey is known for a proactive, personable, and solution-oriented approach to serving clients. He enjoys building lasting relationships, navigating challenges, and creating positive outcomes for those he works with. What attracted him to FNIC was its reputation for putting clients first and its commitment to meaningful, long-term relationships. Joey appreciates that no two days are alike and finds fulfillment in helping people gain confidence and peace of mind through the insurance process. He is also actively involved in his community through the Willard Community Center, his church, and his children’s Lutheran school.

Outside of work, Joey enjoys spending time with his family, supporting his children’s activities, and getting out on the golf course when he can. One of his proudest family memories was watching both of his sons help lead the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors baseball team to a Class C State Championship. He also enjoys sharing a unique piece of family history: his great uncle was among the original team members who helped develop the technology behind the atomic bomb.
