Matt Rein

Matt Rein brings a decade of insurance industry experience, helping businesses navigate risk, understand their coverage options, and make informed decisions with confidence.  He began his insurance career on the carrier side of the industry, spending ten years in sales and underwriting roles with Applied Underwriters and Omaha National. After starting his professional career in personal insurance and investment advising, Matt discovered a passion for commercial insurance and the opportunity to help businesses navigate complex risks and coverage decisions. He earned a degree in Finance, Banking and Investment Science and Portfolio Management from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

What Matt enjoys most about his work is helping clients solve problems and gain a clear understanding of their insurance programs. He values strong relationships and is committed to following through on his promises with responsiveness and reliability. Matt appreciates both the independence and collaboration his role provides and was drawn to FNIC because of the strength of its team and the trust he has in his colleagues. He also serves as a board member for Nebraskans for Workers Compensation Equality and Fairness (NWCEF).

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with family, coaching wrestling, and being outdoors. He coaches at MWC Wrestling Academy and Skutt Catholic High School, reflecting his commitment to mentoring and supporting young athletes in the community.
