Scott Morris

Scott Morris serves as Senior Vice President with the Employee Benefits team at FNIC. With an Executive MBA from the University of Nebraska–Omaha and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Nebraska, Scott brings a thoughtful blend of strategic insight and communication experience to his role. His start in the insurance industry happened unexpectedly when he answered a newspaper ad after college, but the opportunity quickly grew into a fulfilling career centered on supporting employers and their employees.

Scott enjoys the problem‑solving nature of his work and the variety that each day brings. He is motivated by helping organizations navigate complex challenges and appreciates the personal connections built along the way. His approach to leadership is grounded in being present, approachable, and open to new ideas, creating an environment where teams feel supported and confident.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys an active home life and has spent many years coaching his children’s sports teams, often stepping in even when he knew little about the sport itself. His willingness to show up, learn, and encourage others reflects the same commitment he brings to his professional life.
