Ty Kildow

Ty Kildow began his career in the insurance industry shortly after graduating from college, when he was recruited by Federated Insurance. Since then, he has built his career around helping business owners protect what they have worked so hard to build. Ty believes that insurance is far more than a policy—it is a critical component that can strengthen or disrupt a business at any given time. His approach is centered on understanding each client’s operations, risks, and long-term goals so he can help design insurance and risk management strategies that support their success.

Ty particularly enjoys working with and learning from many of the accomplished business owners and executives throughout the country. Being part of their journey and helping safeguard their organizations is one of the most rewarding aspects of his career.

The competitive nature of the insurance industry also keeps Ty energized. As a former collegiate athlete, he enjoys the “game day” mentality that comes with working to earn and retain clients’ trust every day.

Outside the office, Ty enjoys spending time with his wife and their four kids. He loves traveling with family and friends and is always working on improving his golf game—despite the occasional frustration. During college, Ty was also a member of the University of Nebraska’s football and baseball teams, experiences that helped shape the work ethic and competitive drive he brings to his career today.
