Vanessa Wood

Vanessa works closely with individuals, families, and agricultural operations to help them find insurance solutions that fit their unique needs. Vanessa began her insurance career in 2018 and joined FNIC in 2021 as an Account Manager before advancing to her current role. Her background in customer service, account management, and insurance advising has helped her build lasting relationships with clients while providing thoughtful guidance on personal, farm, and ranch insurance coverage. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 2019.

What Vanessa enjoys most about her work is helping clients protect what matters most and giving them confidence through informed insurance decisions. She values taking the time to understand each client’s circumstances and goals, serving as a trusted resource and advocate throughout the process. Growing up in a farming and ranching family, Vanessa has a strong connection to the agricultural community and a firsthand understanding of the challenges and responsibilities producers face. Helping protect those operations is especially meaningful to her.

Outside of work, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children. She loves being outdoors, whether tending to her garden, spending time at the lake, or enjoying a round of golf.
