Account Manager, Personal Insurance:

We’re currently looking for an Account Manager, Personal Insurance who will work with producers and carriers to provide exceptional service to our clients.
What’s the work like?
You will:
- Perform all personal lines service needs including applications, quotations, ID cards, endorsements, binders, billings, renewals, action items and correspondence on assigned accounts
- Market new and renewal business
- Assist in the sales process of personal insurance products
- Enter and maintain underwriting and marketing information in appropriate database
- Receive, document and process all insureds’, producers’ and insurance companies’ requests for service and submit information to insurance companies in a timely manner
- Conduct annual coverage surveys and recommend/sell additional coverage and/or increases in limits
- Review new business, renewals and endorsements to ensure items are received as ordered while following agency procedures
- Obtain expiration dates for additional policies on all mono-line accounts
- Maintain accurate and complete client activity information in the agency management systems
- Reporting claims to carriers
- Incorporate the capabilities of the agency management systems into daily workflow
- Maintain knowledge of current underwriting and policy provisions, including binding authority, of contracted insurance carriers
What do I need to know?
You have to have…
- a valid driver’s license
- a high school diploma or equivalent
- a Property and Casualty Agent’s license
- 3 or more years of Personal Lines and/or personal insurance product experience
- strong time management and organizational skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
We'd like it if you have...
- AAI, CIC, CPCU, CPIA and/or CISR designations
- Knowledge of all personal lines products and rating procedures
