Ongoing Strategies

To help keep your employees and their families safe now here are a few strategies you can implement today:

Encourage Staying Home when Sick

Employees should notify their supervisor and stay home until they are symptom free for at least 24 hours.

Coughing & Sneezing

Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, if you don't have a tissue sneeze into your upper sleeve, not your hands.

Hand Washing

Wash with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol to clean hands.

Routine Cleaning

Clean frequently touched surfaced in the workplace like workstations, courntertops and doorknobs.

Prepare for Travel

Review the latest guidance and recommendations for each country. Encourage employees to check themselves for symptoms and stay home if they are sick.

Response Plan

Create or review your response plan and ensure it has been communicated to your employees.

Develop and implement an awareness campaign using the CDC’s resource that best suits your organization.
