Imaging Specialist
An important part of our agency and administrative team, the Imaging Specialist assists with the day-to-day scanning and indexing of records for our agency. No insurance experience? No problem! We’re looking for an eager multi-tasker who loves working on a great team and owning their work.
This is a part-time position, approximately 20 hours/week from 9am-1pm Monday-Friday
What’s the work like?
You will:
- sort and prepare company documents for imaging
- analyze subject matter of documents to ensure accurate indexing
- accurately index images in appropriate electronic file
- review indexed images to ensure document accuracy
- incorporate the capabilities of the agency management system into daily workflow
- ensure confidentiality is maintained in the collection, maintenance, and dissemination of highly sensitive information, including Protected Health Information (PHI)
- provide back up and/or support to other members of the Administration team, when needed
- any other special projects and duties as assigned
What do I need to know?
- must have knowledge of document imaging/scanning hardware and software, and experience creating electronic copies of documents
- strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and document creation software such as Adobe Acrobat
- records management principles and practices
- ability to observe safety and security procedures and use equipment and materials properly
- ability to conform with and abide by all workplace policies, work procedures, and instructions
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Company employees and external contacts
You have to have…
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years experience of document imaging/scanning hardware and software
